Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of GrantProf. By creating an account or paying for access, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

GrantProf is operated by Amazica Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. In these Terms, "GrantProf," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Amazica Holdings LLC operating the GrantProf service at grantprof.com. "You" refers to the individual creating an account and using the service.

2. Account eligibility

To use GrantProf, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, we encourage you to use GrantProf with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and we recommend enabling the parent dashboard feature. Some scholarship sponsors require applicants to be 18 or older; GrantProf does not enforce sponsor-specific age requirements but you are responsible for checking each scholarship's eligibility before applying.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself when creating your account and to update that information as it changes. Inaccurate information undermines the matching engine and the quality of your application drafts.

3. What you pay and what you get

3.1 Pricing

GrantProf's standard price is $499 (US dollars) for one academic year of access. We frequently offer promotional discount codes that reduce this price; the discounted price is locked at the time of your purchase. We do not retroactively change pricing for existing customers.

3.2 What's included

For your one-time payment, you receive:

• Unlimited scholarship matches from our verified scholarship database
• AI-drafted application packages for every match (essay outlines, opening paragraphs, talking points, form pre-fills, document organization)
• Voice training from your uploaded writing samples
• Live AI essay coaching as you write
• Recommendation letter request automation
• Deadline tracking with email and SMS reminders
• Student dashboard with submission tracking and outcome logging
• Optional parent dashboard for parent visibility

3.3 Access period

Your access runs for one academic year, defined as the date of purchase through July 31 of the following calendar year. For example, a purchase made in June 2026 grants access through July 31, 2027.

3.4 No subscription, no auto-renew

GrantProf is a one-time purchase. We do not automatically charge you again at any point. We do not store a recurring billing relationship. If you want to renew (for a new academic year, for a sibling, for graduate school), you make a fresh purchase at the then-current price.

4. No refunds

GrantProf purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or pro-rated credits once a purchase is complete. Before purchasing, please review the product description, our FAQ, and the AI usage rules in Section 5 carefully to confirm GrantProf fits your needs.

We are confident in the product and stand behind what we ship, but we have intentionally chosen a no-refund policy to keep the price affordable for all families and to ensure we focus our team's time on serving customers rather than processing returns.

If GrantProf is materially unavailable due to a sustained service outage we cause (for example, the platform is non-functional for more than 7 consecutive days within your access period), contact info@grantprof.com with the subject "Service Outage" and we will extend your access period to cover the outage. This is the only circumstance under which we provide any form of compensation, and the compensation is access-time extension, not a monetary refund.

5. AI-assisted drafting and your responsibilities

5.1 What the AI does

GrantProf's AI assistance includes:

• Generating essay outlines tailored to each scholarship's specific prompt
• Pulling talking points from your profile that fit each prompt
• Drafting opening paragraphs in your voice (trained from your uploaded writing samples)
• Providing live coaching as you write — suggesting refinements, improvements, and alternatives
• Pre-filling application form fields with information from your profile
• Drafting recommendation letter request emails for you to send to teachers

5.2 What you do

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing every word of every AI-generated draft before submitting
• Editing drafts to ensure they reflect your authentic voice, story, and perspective
• Writing the final version of essays (the AI provides starting material; the final essay is your work)
• Verifying that all factual information in applications is accurate
• Submitting applications to scholarship sponsors (we organize and prepare; you submit)
• Understanding and complying with each scholarship's policies, eligibility requirements, and AI-content rules

5.3 Scholarship AI policies

Some scholarship sponsors prohibit or restrict AI-generated content in applications. Others permit it. Many are silent. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with each scholarship's policy on AI assistance. GrantProf provides the tool; you decide how to use it within each sponsor's rules. We are not liable for adverse consequences arising from your use of AI-assisted drafts in violation of a sponsor's stated policy.

5.4 Plagiarism and originality

You agree not to submit content generated by GrantProf as your sole original work in contexts where original work is required (such as academic coursework). GrantProf is designed to help you draft scholarship applications, not to circumvent academic integrity requirements at your school. Misuse of the service for academic dishonesty is your responsibility, not ours.

6. Your data and uploads

Your use of GrantProf is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using GrantProf, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of all content you upload (writing samples, transcripts, essays, etc.). You grant us a limited license to use that content for the specific purposes of operating GrantProf for you: scholarship matching, application drafting, voice training, and service delivery. We do not use your content for any other purpose, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide the service (such as transmitting your application to a scholarship sponsor at your direction).

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use GrantProf only for its intended purpose: applying for scholarships and grants you genuinely qualify for. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your profile or applications
• Apply for scholarships you do not qualify for under the sponsor's stated criteria
• Share your account with others or allow others to use your access
• Use GrantProf to apply for scholarships on behalf of someone else (each student needs their own account)
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service in ways that bypass our rate limits or user interface
• Use the service to harass, defraud, or harm any scholarship sponsor or third party
• Violate any applicable law in your use of the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use rules. As stated in Section 4, GrantProf purchases are non-refundable in all circumstances, including suspension or termination for violation of these terms.

8. Service availability and changes

We work hard to keep GrantProf available and functioning, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues beyond our control. We aim for high uptime but do not commit to a specific service-level guarantee.

We may update, modify, or change features of the service over time. We will not remove core features you paid for (scholarship matching, drafting assistance, deadline tracking) during your access period. We may add new features, improve existing ones, or change implementation details without notice.

9. Disclaimers

GrantProf provides tools to help you apply for scholarships. We do not guarantee:

• That you will win any specific scholarship or any scholarship at all
• That every scholarship in our database is currently active and accepting applications (we work to keep the database current but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of every listing)
• That AI-generated drafts will result in winning applications
• That deadlines listed in our system match the sponsor's currently published deadlines (we update regularly but you should verify critical deadlines directly with each sponsor)
• That all features will work perfectly with every scholarship sponsor's application portal

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRANTPROF (AMAZICA HOLDINGS LLC) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST OPPORTUNITY, LOST SCHOLARSHIPS, OR LOST FINANCIAL AID, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GrantProf harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms, your violation of a third party's rights (including a scholarship sponsor's policies), or your submission of false or misleading information.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing info@grantprof.com. Account closure before the end of your access period does not entitle you to any refund or credit. See Section 4.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in ways that harm us or other users.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Data retention follows our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring small claims in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and GrantProf waive any right to participate in a class action or class arbitration.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and post a prominent notice on the site. Your continued use of GrantProf after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GrantProf regarding the service, superseding any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
